To update please download the latest version of DayBack here:

Update the following scripts in your current DayBack File (Your file if you have done an embedded integration), but don't delete the scripts themselves. Rather, use the "Select All" command to select and delete the entire contents of each script, then copy/paste the updated contents of each script from the new version of DayBack into the corresponding scripts in your DayBack file. Here are the scripts that need to be updated this way:

Is Record UnModified ( RecordID ; ModificationCount )
Submit Event From Webviewer
Refresh Calendar
Query Events From WebViewer

We made one small change to the "Upon Opening" script if you haven't modified this script you are welcome to just copy the contents of the script and paste into your file as you have been doing with the other scripts. If you made changes please move the script step Perform Script ["Adjust Window"] from the bottom towards the top just under Go to Layout ["Calendar Splash" (CalendarInterface)]. It should look like the image below.

Layouts:
We made a couple of layout size changes to better accommodate FMGo. Update the following layouts in your current DayBack File, but don't delete the layouts themselves. Rather, use the "Select All" command to select and delete the entire contents of each layout, then copy/paste the updated contents of each layouts from the new version of DayBack into the corresponding layouts in your DayBack file. Please note that there are offscreen layout objects on both layouts. So you will need to unlock those layout objects before deleting them. Here are the layouts that need to be updated this way:

Calendar Splash
Calendar

After pasting the layout contents make sure to readjust the layout size to match the contents.

Remove Items:
Remove the OnRecordLoad script trigger from the “Calendar Home & Feedback” layout. To do this navigate to that layout and enter “Layout Mode”. Then from the “Layouts” menu navigate to “Layout Setup”. Click on the “Script Triggers” tab and unselect the current script trigger.

Delete the script "Load Home Layout"

Finishing Up:
Change the build number recorded in the database. Navigate to "File -> Manage -> Database" then go to the "CalendarInterface" table. Change the "BuildNumberCalc" calculation to read "9.08". Click "OK" to save those changes.

If you haven't already, navigate to the "Settings" tab in the calendar sidebar and click "Account Settings". Click "Check For Updates". This button should change to "Install Update" and inform you that version 9.08 is available. Click "Install Update".

That's it, enjoy DayBack 9.08.

Do you really mean we're supposed to do this, after we have made these mods to update to 9.08?

Hi Jim. Yes, that last step updates the Javascript that controls the web viewer. Normally that step is all you'll need to do to get the updated version. It's just that in this version there are also some FileMaker changes that need to be made. HTH
