Hi Seedcode,
We've implemented Dayback for one of our customers. 2 of their machines which were recently updated to High Sierra are sometimes showing this blank popup. This happens after they have been working with it for some time. They then have to restart FileMaker to get it working again. Other machines which are not yet updated to High Sierra don't have this problem.
I've recently updated the Dayback version to 10.20 but that made no difference for them.
Any ideas what could be the problem? Fmp v16.03 with macOS 10.13.3.
Thanks, Chris
Popup sometimes stays blank on High Sierra

Hi Chris,
Sorry to hear of this issue that you're experiencing. Since we're unable to replicate this on our machines running High Sierra, I'd like to set up a screen-share so we can look at this together on one of your customer's machines. I'll be reaching out via email to schedule this. Thanks, KC |

Did this issue ever get resolved? I have a client that just reported the same thing. Apparently it's intermittent.

Hi Chris,
Sorry to hear your user is still experiencing this issue. In the past, the issue has been resolved by updating to the latest version of High Sierra (10.13.6). However, if they are running the latest High Sierra and still seeing a blank popover, we need to do some more troubleshooting. Can you please confirm what version of DayBack they are using, and also what version of Safari they have installed on their computer? Thanks, Becca |

Hi Becca. It's Jim actually, not Chris. They are running 10.13.3 and DayBack 10.36 (not certain what Safari they have). So yes I need to upgrade them a bit. Let me do that and see if it makes a difference.

Hi Jim,
Sorry for the misnomer, I got my wires crossed! Please let me know if the upgrade solves the issue. Regards, Becca |

I just heard back from my client. They have another person with 10.13.6 installed and it's happening to them. So I suspect that the issue is the DayBack version. I will report back once I've upgraded them.

Hi Jim,
Thanks for the update. Please let me know what you find out after the update. If you can check which version of Safari they have installed, that may also help diagnose this issue. Have a great rest of your day! Becca |
