Hi!
I'm new in this forum and i've been testing SeedCode Calendar for a couple of days. My question is: Is there a french version ? If not how easy is it to do the job. I have a medical application and customizing your Calendar pro could help. But i dont need Project Mgmt. Also, in place of your contacts table, i've got a patients table i'd like to link. Is it easy ? I have a short delay(7 days, 14 real working hours !).
Regards
Théo

Hi Theo,
Thanks for your note; unfortunately we don't have a French version. I'd say the translation is pretty straight forward as we don't have a ton of field labels. And I think you're on track about linking using contacts for patients. You could either import your patients in to ours or swap out our contacts table for your patients. If you'd like to swap out you can find instructions here. Hopefully that will help you gage how much work it is. The only tricky parts of the translation involve our filter labels, where we have calculations testing for and returning some english text (like "user" in the user filter). If you have trouble with these calcs just let me know and I'll help you out. Best, John Sindelar

Hi
Well I'm precisely in the process of translating my copy of CCCalendar. Most of the days and dates are taken from your machines internatiional format configuration. Except for the language settings for IWP module which about which I have made a separate posting. However I have just one other problem for the moment. It's with the tab labels "daily" "week" etc. I thought I had nailed them down to be the fields "IntTab1NameGlob", "IntTab2NameGlob" etc. Yet every time I hange the content of these fields to the French equivalent, they only maintain their value till the next time I open the file. So the question is, can they be defiitively changed and if so what is the script or field that keeps changing them back? |

Good question. You'll need to take the file down from the server in order to make permanent changes to those global fields. As you've noticed, globals in served files only keep their changes for the current session- and will revert to the values the globals had when the file was served. So if you edit the values off the server, then serve the file, you'll be all set.
