I would like to use the mailings function to send mass emails (eg staff newsletters / rotas etc) to our users but I'm getting error messages because the scrips are looking for ContactID records, and of course not finding them.

Is there a way to emend the scripts to check for either ContactID OR UserID without breaking the mailings section?

My back up plan is to duplicate the mailing tab and use 1 version for contacts, and 1 for staff (users) , but I feel it might be neater to have a single version perhaps?

Any thoughts as always, appreciated

Hi. I believe you'll get more mileage out of this if you create Contact records for each of your users. This way they can benefit from ALL the functions linked to contacts: multiple phone, email, and physical addresses, sending mailings, etc.
