I run FileMaker 9 on a Macbook4. All my FM files are in one folder as required.
When I try to merge or preview I get 'error 414' Google says it has something to do with TCP/IP I changed my settings to show TCP/IP Address.
I changed Port setting from 25 to 465, still nothing.
Do not understand what I am doing wrong.

Hi Brian,

So *FileMaker's* error 414 is "Layout cannot display the result" which probably means that one of the table occurrences in fmSpark isn't hooked up to your contacts file correctly. You might want to take another pass at the integration instructions or send me the file if you get stuck (john at seedcode.com)

BTW, the "reference" section of FileMaker's built in help has a listing of all the FileMaker error codes.
