Hello,

I am using the free version 1.08, with Filemaker Pro 11, and came across a problem with the monthly view display. It seems to be a problem with the date start and end dates. For example, I set up 7 events that all started on the 14th with an ending date of the 16th. In day and week view all 7 events show up for all days. When I go to the month view, the 14th shows 4 events and the 3 more button. But the 15th and 16th only show 5 events and no button for the additional events. Any ideas on how to get the events on the 15th and 16th to show up with the 3 more button also?

Thanks,
Robert

Excellent Robert- I've never seen that before but you're right, I can reproduce that here as well. I'll need to figure out the right code change to fix this and will post instructions here as soon as I do.

Nice catch!

Quick update. We've isolated this and have a repair that doesn't seem to have any negative consequences. So far it is a change you'll be able to make to your own scripts, so that is good news. We'll be testing this further and will posts instructions for the repair here when we have the leanest, simplest solution.

Thanks again for this.

Hi Robert,

Thanks for your patience. So here is how to repair this in your copy...

1. Download the new version of our free calendar (v1.09) from http://www.seedcode.com/downloads

2. Copy the script steps from each of the following three scripts and past these over the script steps in the scripts of the same name in your file.

Insert iCal File Into Calendar { UseExistingData }
Insert into Calendar { Column }
Insert into Calendar - Write Event { No Content }

This is easy if you have FileMaker Advanced. If you don't, feel free to send me your file and I'll paste them in for you (john at seedcode.com)

That's it.
