Do you have any tips on formatting text for Google calendar?

For the summary / description, any 'returns' in the text I'm sending are getting stripped out, resulting in a hard-to-read string of text. I tried <BR> instead of "¶", but neither seem to have any effect. I'm using slashes for now, but returns would be nice....

And maybe Bold, Italic?

Hi Joel,

From my testing Google doesn't support carriage returns in the Summary. This is consistent with their interface, i.e. it won't let you put a carriage return there when you try and edit or create, so for summary, they're just going to get stripped out. Same thing with Font Styles, Google doesn't support them via the API or from their interface. Even if you paste text in with style right into their interface, it strips it out.

Although it doesn't support the styles, Description does support the carriage returns. The ones I create in FileMaker are being maintained in Google and vise versa.
