We just had a client go to purchase Spanning Sync and they stopped their sales since 10.7.4 broke Spanning Sync: http://blog.spanningsync.com/2012/07/en ... -sync.html

During my testing of Zulu the following page suggests using Spanning Sync to sync Address Book with Google Contacts and it worked great! That was before 10.7.4 and 10.8 was released.

Since Spanning Sync isn't available is there another way to sync Address Book with Google Contacts?

I see a few things on the App Store, but haven't had a chance to check any of them out. We actually weren't aware of this

We do find it strange that we can use the exchange protocol to sync iOS Contacts with Google Contacts, but not on OSX itself. Google Contacts doesn't seem very stable/mature from our experience compared with the Calendar API, so that may have something to do with it.

I'll try to check some of these other apps out as soon as I get a chance and report back here.

That would be fantastic. The faster the better! If your app could run silently in the background it would be amazing.

Just so you know there is a FileMaker Server add on call Zulu that syncs FileMaker Contacts to Google Contacts. We were using Spanning Sync, but that product is dead and need an alternative.

Just tested Syncing Mac Address Book with Google via CardDAV and it seems to be working great!
