One of my clients would like to be able to multiple events for a resources on a given day in the Grid View. Currently, if a resource has more than one appointment on given day a red line is shown. They would like to be able to see all the events listed on the grid. In essence, extend the rows vertically as needed to accommodate showing additional events in the Grid view.

Is this possible? It looks like it would be a lot of work if it could even be done.

Right, modifying the grid would be a major modification. One thing we've done in the past is to set up the Gantt chart so that it can break by Resource. This would give you a similar view where you could expand and collapse the Gantt by resource, but expanded you would see the individual events with no overlap. The Gantt does have a minimum scale of 2 weeks, so you'd constrained by that as well.
