Hello, I'd like to know how to speed up the calendar.
When I host it on a server, it works too slow if I open it from a computer or an iPad.
I don't use To-do list, Gantt, projects.

A little bit more information could be helpful. Are you using filemaker 11 or filemaker 12?

Some things that can help:
Make sure you are using the very latest version of the calendar:

Also make sure you are using the very latest version of Filemaker. The latest release 12.0v3 gave us a pretty good speed bump in the calendar.

Yes, the calendar will run faster in Filemaker Pro 11. Filemaker 12 has quite a few more options for layouts and object states which means it needs to evaluate a lot more things to display layouts. It also has a css backend which will offer greater flexibility but adds some overhead.

Filemaker has done great work in improving the speed of Filemaker 12 with the past few point releases, we have seen great improvements if you update to 12.0v3. In fact in our testing the latest version of Filemaker is almost as fast as Filemaker 11 when using our calendar.
