Can I Run the Calendar As More than One Window?
While we make use of a lot of new mini windows-- for things like search results, editing appointments, and previewing print outs-- you can’t really run two simultaneous windows of the calendar. The reason is that in layouts like the Month view of the calendar, we store the date you’re looking at in a global field and FileMaker scopes this global to the session, not the window. That means that every window in the solution has the same global. So you really can’t have two month windows set to show different months.
