How Can I Add a Default Resource Or Default Appointment Type?
You can easily add defaults for any of the appointment attributes. Simply select File / Define / Database. Select the “Fields” tab of the Define Database panel and select CCCalAppts from the pop-up list of possible tables. You can now edit the field definition for any appointment attribute and add an “auto enter” value.
For example, to add a default type (say “Pending” for instance) double click on the field “ApptType” you’ll land on the Auto Enter tab of the Field Options screen: simply check the box next to “Data:” and type in whatever data you’d like to have auto entered for newly created appointments. (Note that you’ll likely want to enter an appointment type that is in your list of possible appointments types on the Settings section of the About tab.)
