Can I Change Layout Names?'
In general we don’t recommend changing layout names as some of these are used in scripts. However changing this is not as disruptive as changing Table Occurrence names, which will definitely break things.
(For example, we use things like this line in the script "Go to Related Activity { Show As List ; All }"
PatternCount ( Get ( LayoutTableName ) ; "Project" )
If you *really* need to change table occurrence names you can print all the scripts to PDF and check for "LayoutTableName" )
Creating and naming new layouts is not a problem; you’ll just want to add the layouts to the tab navigation in the Tabs & Navigation section of the Admin tab.
Note that our List and Table icons use a naming convention among layouts to determine which layout is the List View for a given layout. So if you make new layouts that have List and/or table versions, you’ll want to name them with the layout name followed by one space and “List” or one space and “Table”.
