Integers And Decimals
Why are there search fields for both Integers and Decimals?
We have a place on the search layouts (the Table01, Table02, etc. layouts) for you to point at Integer fields and a separate place for you to select Decimal fields.
In most cases you won't need decimal fields, but when it comes to invoices, they make a lot of sense: you might select your Invoice Number as one of your integer fields and Invoice Amount as one of your decimal fields. Then, searching for 1000 would find Invoice Number 1000, but searching for 1000.00 would NOT find invoice number 1000 because SearchResults sees this as a decimal search and will only find Invoice Amounts of $1,000.00
