The Home Layout is designed as both a welcome screen and dashboard for previewing and navigating to specific records.
You can search for records using the keyword using our Selectors, but these Home Layout Selectors have some additional filter switches for "recent" and "my" records. We have more info on what constitutes a Recent Item here.
My Contacts, etc.
When a Staff account is set up, it's linked to a Contact record. When that Contact logged into the database then the records related to that Contact record will be considered the "my" records.

Behind The Scenes
Like the other Selector routines and similarly to RecentItems. The find to constrain to "My" is done in the SeedCode Control File scripts. If the "My" switch is on, then we pass the logged it staff ID as a parameter to the control file script so it knows to constrain the results to that staff members associations.
