How is record creation scripted?
When you use a keyboard shortcut to create a new record, or select "New..." from FileMaker's Record menu, we use an On Record Load Script Trigger to take us into edit mode. Traditionally we would do this with a Custom Menu, but since they are not supported by WebDirect, we opted for the trigger which works on all platforms.
